TEENS

At Calvary Baptist, our youth ministry is about more than activities or a gathering place—it’s about helping teens build a faith that lasts. Whether they are growing under their parents' guidance or beginning to take greater ownership of their faith, we want to equip them with biblical wisdom, a strong foundation in truth, and a lasting love for Christ.

We are committed to discipling teens through God’s Word, helping them see the beauty of the gospel, and encouraging them to live out their faith with conviction. Our leaders walk alongside our students, providing mentorship, encouragement, and biblical teaching that prepares them to stand firm in their faith—both now and in the years ahead.

Teens

Sunday School

Sunday at 9:45am in the Teen Building

Each Sunday, teens gather in the Youth Building for a time of fellowship, snacks, and Bible study. After an opening time together, Junior High boys and girls split into separate classes for age-specific teaching, while High School students dive into deeper discussions designed to equip them for life and faith beyond their teen years.

Salt & Light

Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Teen Building

Salt and Light is part of our midweek discipleship program, designed to help 6th-9th graders grow in their understanding of God's Word and how it applies to their lives. This time includes high-energy activities, scripture memorization, small group discussions, and engaging lessons, all aimed at equipping students to know, love, and serve Jesus. Salt and Light follows the MPUSD school calendar.

Summer Camp

Each summer, our children and teens head to Wolf Mountain Camp in Grass Valley, CA for a week of outdoor adventure, deep friendships, and powerful biblical teaching. Our kids going into 4th-7th grade go to Trail Head (jr. camp) and our teens going into 8th-12th grade go to Teen camp. Away from the noise of life, students can spend time in prayer, worship, and biblical teaching that challenges them to grow spiritually. Whether enjoying God’s creation, learning new skills, or being challenged through His Word, camp provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their faith and create lifelong memories.
