CHILDREN

At Calvary Baptist, we believe that children should be taught the truths of Scripture from an early age. While parents and family play the primary role in shaping a child’s faith (Deut. 6:4-9), the local church provides a valuable opportunity for children to grow spiritually through teaching tailored to them. Our goal is not simply to entertain children or keep them occupied during services, but to help them understand who God is, what He desires for them, and how they can follow Jesus for life.

Camp

Summer Camp

Each summer, our children and teens head to Wolf Mountain Camp in Grass Valley, CA for a week of outdoor adventure, deep friendships, and powerful biblical teaching. Our kids going into 4th-7th grade go to Trail Head (Jr. Camp) and our teens going into 8th-12th grade go to Teen Camp. Away from the noise of life, students can spend time in prayer, worship, and biblical teaching that challenges them to grow spiritually. Whether enjoying God’s creation, learning new skills, or being challenged through His Word, camp provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their faith and create lifelong memories.
