What to Expect
We know that visiting a church can be a nerve-wracking experience. Let us help answer some of the question you might have about us.
What time should we be there?
We encourage you to arrive 10-15 minutes early. This will allow you to have plenty of time to get you children checked in and find a seat.
Bible Hour: Sundays at 9:45 am
Sunday Morning Service: Sundays at 11:00 am
Sunday Evening Service: Sundays at 6:00 pm
Midweek Service: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm

What happens in a worship service?
Each of our worship services start with singing and prayer. Our focus is on congregational singing which allows everyone to participate in songs of worship and mutual encouragement.
A large part of the service is dedicated to teaching from the Bible. Each week a Pastor will explain what a passage from the Bible means and how it applies to our lives. Most of the time we work through a book of the Bible week by week. This allows us to understand the whole message of the Bible.

What should I wear?
People at Calvary wear a variety of styles and fashions. Some are comfortable in casual dress while others may choose business or business casual. There is no single style of dress required and all are welcome.
What about children?
Most importantly, we love children. Calvary is a church full of families with children of every age.
Guests always have the option to choose what is best for their children. If you would like to keep them in the service with you, you are welcome to do so. If they are young or have unique needs, we have a special seating area across the lobby where you can take them and watch the service on a monitor.
We have nursery available for infants through 3 years old and children's classes available for 4 year olds through 5th grade. Children 4 years old through the 5th grade start the worship service in the auditorium and are dismissed to Junior Church before the preaching. During Junior Church they receive teaching from God's Word designed to teach them at a level they can fully grasp.

What Other Services Does Calvary Have?
In addition to the Sunday morning Bible Hour and the Sunday morning Worship services, Calvary Baptist also has weekly services Sunday evening and Wednesday evening.
