Pastor Tom Knauf
Pastor Tom Knauf is the founding pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. After beginning ministries in Michigan and Arizona, Pastor Tom moved his family to Marina in 1966 to shepherd Calvary Baptist Church, then a small assembly meeting in a different location than where the church gathers today.

Pastor Tom led the church to purchase the current property and oversaw the development of the campus and its many buildings. After thirty‑six years of faithful service, he retired in 2002.

Pastor Tom and his wife, Wanda, remain active members of Calvary and continue to be a blessing to our church family.
Pastor Tim Knauf
Pastor Tim Knauf began his ministry as the youth pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in 1981. In 2002, upon the retirement of his father, Pastor Tim became the lead pastor of Calvary. Under his leadership, the church continued to thrive and saw many improvements to the facilities, most notably a renovation of the main sanctuary.

Pastor Tim retired in May of 2026 after forty‑five years of faithful service at Calvary Baptist Church.
Pastor Tim and his wife, Jenifer, continue to maintain their membership at Calvary, and he remains active in ministry by providing pulpit supply for churches throughout the region.
